In this Report, in text, graphic and tabular form, data on the balance of supply and demand in Russia for the products category fresh in the segments of fresh vegetables and greens. Considered in detail 8 kinds of fresh vegetables and herbs, most popular in the Russian Federation, as of end consumers and domestic producers. In the studied species included potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers.
Analyzed the levels of domestic production, including the type of the enterprises-manufacturers, and the volume of imports in General, for each category and for each product separately. Given the dynamics of production, the dynamics of imports and consumption dynamics. Calculated per capita consumption of each category and types of fresh products in particular.
Import analyzed by natural and cost parameters. Quantitative figures in dynamics for 3 years, in the main importing countries, as well as rates of supply for each of the 8 species of fresh product.
The list of the 15 largest suppliers of imported fresh produce to the Russian market, with the indication of their specialization, geographical coverage and contacts.
The results of the study show a great potential for the organization of domestic production of fresh vegetables in Russia for imports and meet consumer demand quality products.
